Cousins Tavern is a cozy spot in the heart of Peyia known for authentic Cypriot cooking and warm hospitality. Guests praise the generous portions, fair prices and relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Hearty favorites such as moussaka, pork stifado and the mixed grill stand out, alongside satisfying vegetarian plates; a vegan platter has also been prepared on request.
Cocktails, including mojito and gin fizz, are available to round out the meal. Seating includes a balcony overlooking Peyia’s center, adding a pleasant village view to dinner. Service is friendly and notably quick.
Do note there are steps up to the balcony entrance, which some guests found challenging. Open daily for dinner from 17:30 to 22:00, it’s a solid choice for comfort-food cravings, an easygoing night out, or sharing Cypriot specialties with visitors.
