CyprusBites is made in Cyprus. We are not a delivery app, and we never will be. We help you find where to eat, book a table or order takeaway ahead, and then we get out of the way.
Venues can pay us for tools, like their own website or passes that bring guests back. They cannot pay for a higher place in results, on the site or in the app.
We do not ask for receipt photos. They can be borrowed or edited, and they carry card details. Instead, each review is marked from the records a real visit leaves behind.
The venue closed the bill at a table where this member ordered, handed over their takeaway, or scanned their booking pass at the door. The venue acted, so nobody can fake it alone. A party the venue confirmed took place reads Verified party.
The visit was recorded from the member's own phone, by a check-in on location or by typing a booking or takeaway code, and the venue did not confirm it. We show it and say so, because a phone can be fooled.
We have no record of a visit in the six months before the review. The words may still be honest, and now you can tell the difference.
Delivery apps take 20 to 30 percent of every order, and menu prices rise to cover it. Order ahead on CyprusBites, collect it yourself and pay the venue directly. We take nothing from the food. Venues that pass part of that saving on to you show a member price.
CyprusBites is new, and parts of it are still being built. If something is broken, unfair or unclear, tell us. A person reads every message.
