Τόδε τί (Tode ti)

Tucked away in the residential streets of Engomi, Τόδε τί (Tode ti) is a small, unpretentious Greek 'mezedotechnio' where traditional Northern-Greek and Macedonian cooking gets a thoughtful, contemporary twist. Diners consistently praise the well-balanced, carefully crafted dishes made from fresh ingredients, from standout appetisers to hearty plates like lamb with chickpeas and Florina-pepper kebabs. The atmosphere is relaxed and tavern-like without the usual clamour, and service is warm and attentive, often with the owner welcoming guests personally over a Greek beer, tsipouro or retsina.

It's a place built for sharing, so groups of four to six can sample a wide spread of the menu, which changes with the seasons and includes plenty of vegetable-forward options alongside the meat. Open for dinner most evenings and for lunch on weekends, Tode ti has quietly become one of Nicosia's favourite hidden gems since opening a few years ago. Some guests find a few dishes and salads slightly pricey, but most agree the quality more than justifies a return visit.
