When you are ready for more, head to Larnaca Marina. This lively seafront beside the city centre offers a sandy beach and a promenade, plus boat trips, restaurants and cafes, so you can comfortably fill a whole day without straying far.
To finish, make your way to the Flamingo observatory spot at Larnaca Salt Lake, an open viewpoint to watch wintering flamingos. It is free to visit, and you will get more from the moment if you bring binoculars or a zoom lens. Aim for dawn or sunset for the best viewing light and activity.
