The Zenobia Wreck is Cyprus's most celebrated dive site and one of the top ten wreck dives in the world. A 172-metre Swedish-built Challenger-class RO-RO ferry, the MS Zenobia capsized and sank on her 1980 maiden voyage off Larnaca, taking her cargo of over 100 lorries with her. Today she rests on her port side roughly 1.5 km from shore, with the shallowest sections around 18 metres and the seabed at 42 metres.

Divers explore the bridge, the truck-laden cargo decks, the cafeteria and the bow doors, while the hull has become a thriving artificial reef. Visibility is often excellent (20–30 metres) and currents are typically mild, making conditions welcoming, though the depth means it is best suited to Advanced Open Water divers, with deep and nitrox specialties recommended for penetration dives. Even freedivers and snorkellers can enjoy the upper structure.

Water temperatures range from about 17°C in winter to 28°C in summer, so a suitable wetsuit is advised. Book ahead through a reputable dive centre, as the site is popular year-round.
