Tucked a little off the beaten track in Paphos, Ficardo is a warm, family-run restaurant that has built a loyal following for its consistently excellent food and genuinely welcoming service. Host Maria and her family are known for greeting guests with a smile and making sure everyone feels looked after throughout the evening. The kitchen turns out an international menu with real care: signature steaks such as the Ficardo fillet, perfectly cooked rack of lamb and Dijon pork, alongside duck breast, spinach and salmon ravioli, and linguini.

Halloumi with filo pastry and pomegranate makes a memorable starter, while desserts like the chocolate lava cake and the much-talked-about chocolate bomb are worth saving room for. The dining room is attractively designed and the atmosphere relaxed, making it a fine choice for a special meal or a leisurely dinner. Open every evening from 17:00 to 23:00, with reasonably priced wines and drinks, Ficardo is regularly praised by visitors as one of the best restaurants in Paphos.
