Parko Paliatso Luna Park

Parko Paliatso Luna Park is the largest amusement park in Cyprus, open since 1999 and set right in the heart of Ayia Napa. Spread across roughly 30,000 square metres with free entry and free on-site parking, it packs in more than 25 rides and attractions for every age and thrill level. Adrenaline seekers head for the headline Sling Shot, at about 90 metres one of the tallest ejection-seat rides in Europe, plus the Booster, Looping Star roller coaster and the 45-metre giant Ferris wheel with sweeping views over the town.

Younger visitors have plenty of gentler choices, from carousels, tea-cups and bumper cars to trampolines and junior rides. You can pay as you go with tokens or buy an unlimited-ride wristband, so it suits both short visits and full evenings out. The park comes alive after dark, opening from 6pm until well past midnight, with an air-conditioned fast-food spot on site for snacks and drinks.
