Taverna Ropas is a family-run Cypriot taverna in Paralimni, welcoming diners since 1991 with authentic, home-style cooking and warm hospitality. The star of the table is the meze — abundant platters of meat and fish dishes that keep coming, alongside favourites like breaded halloumi with fig marmalade, fig salad and kolokassi fries. Dishes are prepared from traditional recipes, with meats grilled over real charcoal.
In the warmer months, guests dine out back in a leafy courtyard filled with lemon trees and jasmine that feels like a family garden; in winter the interior offers a cosy setting beside an open fire.
