Kastella Beach - Blue Flag

Kastella Beach is a Blue Flag beach set beside Larnaca's Psarolimano fishing shelter, a compact 600-metre strip of fine sand shading from brown to beige, with calm, clear and notably shallow water. That gently sloping seabed makes it a favourite for families with young children, and visitors consistently note how spacious and uncrowded it stays, so finding a spot is easy. The beach is well organised, with sunbeds and umbrellas for hire (around €7.50 for two loungers and a parasol as of 2026), showers, changing facilities, dustbins and a summer lifeguard service.

Free parking is available nearby on Parodos Piale Pasa. There is little food or drink directly on the sand, but the surrounding area is lined with traditional fish taverns, cafés, ice-cream parlours and kiosks, so fresh seafood and refreshments are only a short walk away. A quirky bonus: you can watch aircraft on their approach to Larnaca airport while you relax by the Mediterranean.
