Behind an unassuming door you'll find a striking space of bold turquoise walls, ornate gold frames, black-and-white checkered floors and lush palm wallpaper, with a leafy garden-style outdoor terrace for sunny mornings. The all-day brunch menu spans indulgent buttermilk pancakes — the Lotus and Snickers versions are cult favourites — alongside loaded bagels with cream cheese, avocado, egg and bacon or smoked salmon, eggs Benedict, and creative city-inspired lunch plates.

Freshly made iced teas with honey, cold and hot coffee, and fresh orange juice round out the drinks, while the ever-changing desserts keep regulars coming back.
