What we keep, and how to be counted out

We do not sell your data and we show no third-party advertising. Google Analytics only runs if you accept cookies, our own visit counter never leaves CyprusBites, and there is a page that opts you out of even that.

  1. Decline the non-essential cookies if you would rather not be measured
  2. Open Do not track me to be left out of our own counter
  3. Read the privacy policy for the full list of what we hold

The honest summary. We hold your account details, and the activity you chose to record: favourites, private notes, visits, reviews, taste preferences, trip plans and Bites activity. That is it.

We do not sell any of it and we carry no third-party advertising. Google Analytics runs only if you accept cookies. Our own visit counter uses a first-party cookie that never leaves CyprusBites.

The Do not track me page takes you out of our own counter as well, with one press.

The privacy policy is the full version, written to be read rather than to be defensible.

Wie das aussieht Decline cookies and nothing about your visit reaches Google. Open Do not track me as well and our own first-party counter stops counting you too.
Gut zu wissen Opting out of the counter costs you nothing on the site, because none of your favourites, bookings or Bites depend on it.
