Order at the table

A ROUND IS ONE BASKET SENT AT ONCE. A table orders three starters, sends them, and later sends two more mains. Each one is a round, numbered per table. That is how people actually eat and it is why this is not a shopping cart with one checkout.

WHAT CAN RIDE IN A ROUND. Only dishes that are live, available and marked orderable, at your dine-in price. Each line can carry a guest's name and a note.

YOU ACCEPT, AND ONLY ONCE. The accept is guarded: if two people tap it at the same moment, one of them is told the round was already decided. Accepting prints the kitchen ticket immediately.

YOU CAN DECLINE A SINGLE LINE rather than the whole round, which is what you actually want when one dish is off and the rest is fine.

A ROUND OF DRINKS CAN SKIP THE KITCHEN. If every line needs no preparation and you have no counters set up, it goes straight to served rather than sitting on a board waiting for somebody to say a poured beer is ready.

THE GUEST CAN UN-SEND, but only while it still says sent. Once you have accepted it, it is yours.

A WAITER CAN KEY IN FOR A TABLE that would rather talk to a person. Your day report splits what guests ordered themselves from what your staff keyed in, so you can see which is which rather than assuming.

THE MONEY IS YOURS AND STAYS YOURS. There is no payment on this platform. The tab closes at your till, with your register's receipt number in the note so your day reconciles.

THIS IS THE ONE PAID ADD-ON HERE, sold on its own rather than folded into a plan, because it is a different conversation: tablets, printers, training your floor.
