Your match score

The coloured ring on every place is how well it fits you right now, your mood and taste, plus the moment, how far it is, whether it is open, the weather, and your budget. Higher means a better fit for you, not just a better rating.

  2. Look for the coloured ring on the card or profile
  3. Tap the ring to see the reasons behind the score

A rating tells you what a place is like for everybody. A match score tells you what it is like for you, now.

Half of it is you: the cuisines, moods and price levels your taste profile has learned. The other half is the moment: distance, whether it is open, the weather, how busy it is and what you said you were in the mood for.

No venue can pay to raise it. That is checked by a test that runs every time a release of CyprusBites is built, and the release does not ship if it fails.

What it looks like The same taverna can read 91 for you on a warm Friday evening and 64 on a wet Tuesday lunchtime, because half the score is about the moment, not the place.
Worth knowing The reasons under the score tell you why it matched, read them to learn what to tweak next time.
