Say what you are planning once. We ask the venues and the caterers, and each one answers with a real quote without seeing what the others wrote. You compare the answers side by side.
There are three rooms: children's parties and play centres, halls for private and corporate events, and catering companies. Picking the room first is what makes the island appear.
Browsing and filling in the form are open to everybody. Only sending it asks you to sign in, because a quote has to come back to somebody.
A quote stays sealed. No venue sees another venue's number. That is enforced in the code and checked when a release is built, which is the only reason it is worth saying out loud.
Once you accept, the agreement has its own page and its own code: what was agreed, for how many, for how much, printable on one sheet. If a deposit is involved you record that you sent it, so both sides are reading the same record.
You can also invite your guests from there, collect their answers and allergies, and send the venue a final head count. The venue never sees your guest list, only the number, and the allergy card reaches both sides because that is safety rather than admin.
