Archaeological Site of Nea Paphos

The Archaeological Site of Nea Paphos is one of Cyprus' most remarkable cultural landmarks, part of the Unesco World Heritage listing in Paphos. Set in a sprawling seaside location, the site is famed for its exceptionally well-preserved Roman mosaics, especially those in the House of Dionysos, which draw history lovers from around the world. Beyond the mosaics, visitors can wander among the remains of an Odeon (open-air theatre), the ancient city walls incorporating natural rock formations, and other structures, with the nearby lighthouse visible from within the grounds.
