Атмосфера

Romantic Family Friendly Tourist Friendly Traditional Local Favourite Good for Groups Premium Excellent Service

Set within the boutique Casale Panayiotis mountain hotel in the spa-village of Kalopanayiotis, Byzantino Restaurant serves authentic Cypriot cuisine built on homemade regional recipes and fresh ingredients from local farms in the Marathasa valley. The kitchen is best known for its Cypriot meze, alongside beloved classics such as koupepia (stuffed vine leaves), gemista (stuffed vegetables), moussaka, pastitsio and kebabs, with the portokalopita dessert a standout finish. The setting is more refined than casual, with a warm, cozy atmosphere, a fireplace and a wooden balcony overlooking the Setrachos valley and the Unesco-listed Monastery of Saint John Lampadistis across the way.

Diners consistently praise the friendly, attentive service and the flavourful, homemade-tasting food. Open daily for lunch and dinner, it suits romantic candlelit evenings, family lunches and groups exploring the Troodos mountains. Reservations are recommended. A well-stocked cellar of Cypriot wines rounds out a meal that showcases genuine mountain-village hospitality.
