Order takeaway and walk in

Order ahead from a venue that takes takeaway, and collect it when it is ready. You pay the venue directly, so nothing is taken out of the food, which is the whole reason this exists.

  1. Open a venue that offers takeaway
  2. Add what you want, with any extras, and send
  3. Wait for the venue to accept and give you a time
  4. Collect and show your code

You order, the venue accepts and tells you how long their kitchen needs, and you walk in and collect. No delivery, no card details, no commission on the food.

Your order carries a code beginning with P and a QR, so the counter can hand it over to the right person. Where it is offered you can put the pass in Apple Wallet so it is on the lock screen when you arrive.

While an order is still waiting to be accepted you can change it, and the change replaces it in one step rather than leaving two orders in the kitchen.

If a dish came off the menu between you opening it and pressing send, you are told out loud rather than quietly handed a shorter order.

Afterwards you can rate the collection. That rating is about the handover, not about the food, and it is what keeps the prep times on this site honest.

What it looks like A thirty euro order through a delivery app can cost the kitchen six to nine euro in commission. Through CyprusBites it costs them nothing, which is why some of them give you a member price instead.
Worth knowing Your usual order is saved, so the second time is two taps rather than a rebuild from the menu.
